The T-GUARD Shooter Cut 25 x 30 is a flexible, multi-layered trauma plate developed by CallOfDefense to complement the effectiveness of ballistic protection in the Shooter Cut 25 x 30 cm format.

A ballistic plate can stop a projectile without completely eliminating the energy transmitted to the body. This energy can cause backface deformation, known as BFD , as well as significant trauma to the impact area.

The role of the T-GUARD is to add an additional layer between the ballistic plate and the wearer, in order to help distribute the energy of the impact and reduce transmitted trauma.

This Shooter Cut 25 x 30 cm version is designed for users seeking greater freedom of movement in the shoulders, particularly in shooting position, handling long guns or in dynamic configurations.

Workshop design and manufacturing

The T-GUARD is designed, conceived, tested and manufactured in our CallOfDefense workshops .

Unlike a generic anti-trauma plate, the T-GUARD is developed around a simple logic: to effectively complement a ballistic plate, improve energy distribution and offer a solution adapted to the actual format of the plates used.

Each plate is manufactured in a workshop, with a high-density flexible multi-layer structure.

The manufacturing is done in France, but the central element remains our workshop control: design, drawing, cutting, assembly, control and adaptation according to demand.

Why choose the Shooter Cut format?

The Shooter Cut format uses a 25 x 30 cm base with a more open cut at the shoulders.

This geometry allows for a consistent protective surface, while improving upper body mobility compared to a straighter SAPI-type format.

The T-GUARD Shooter Cut 25 x 30 is particularly relevant for users who wear their protection in an active configuration: shooting, moving, carrying a long gun, prolonged wear or handling equipment.

Why use an anti-trauma plate?

Even with a so-called stand-alone plate, the rear trauma can still be significant depending on the ammunition, the distance, the plate used, the angle of impact and the morphology of the wearer.

The addition of an anti-trauma system improves the management of energy transmitted behind the plate and enhances the rear comfort of the protection.

Without additional trauma protection, a stopped impact can still lead to:

deep contusions
severe chest pain
