The P1-GEN2 Coyote Brown is a High Cut ballistic helmet made of UHMWPE, designed for users looking for a modern, accessible platform compatible with current tactical accessories.
Its Coyote Brown color allows for natural integration into field configurations, especially with coyote, tan, multicam, ranger green or black equipment.
The P1-GEN2 incorporates the fundamentals of a modern High Cut ballistic helmet: open cut, audio compatibility, side rails, NVG-compatible front shroud, improved SOFTCORE liner and integrated BOA retention system.
The P1-GEN2's shell is made of UHMWPE, a high-performance ballistic polyethylene used for its shock absorption capacity and impact resistance.
In the CallOfDefense range, UHMWPE is positioned as a more accessible solution than aramid, while maintaining ballistic protection tested according to the NIJ IIIA 0106.01 standard.
UHMWPE exhibits greater elasticity than aramid. This material deforms more upon impact, which should be considered when choosing the size and intended use.
For very hot, arid environments or prolonged use under high temperatures, an aramid shell may be more suitable due to its more rigid and stable structure.
The P1-GEN2 is tested according to NIJ IIIA 0106.01 standard.
Additional tests are conducted on NIJ 0101.06 level IIIA reference threats, including 9x19 mm, .357 SIG and .44 Magnum, according to available test protocols.
Each helmet comes with an extract from the 2025 ballistic report.
We intentionally use the formulation tested according to the NIJ standard, and not certified by NIJ, in order to remain precise and transparent about the level of validation communicated.
The Gen2 version offers a more refined finish and a more complete configuration than the first generations.

Unlike the aramid versions, the P1-GEN2 does not have direct internal engraving in the UHMWPE shell. Authentication is ensured by a dedicated transparent label, better suited to this thermoplastic material.
