Note on color: The Multicam color used by Call of Defense is intentionally lighter than a standard Multicam, in order to better harmonize with recent French BME (Multi-Environment Camouflage) equipment. This is not an official BME, but a light Call of Defense Multicam, selected for its consistency with current French tactical configurations. This lighter shade allows for better visual integration with equipment predominantly sand, beige, light green, and intermediate tones, while maintaining the versatility of a multi-environment camouflage.

Its UHMWPE shell offers a good protection/weight ratio, good natural resistance to moisture and interesting behavior in cold or humid environments.
Unlike aramid, UHMWPE ballistic polyethylene is a more elastic material. It can therefore deform more significantly upon impact. For this reason, the P1-GEN2 is only offered in M/L and L/XL sizes , to maintain a more suitable internal margin for this material and for wearing in a full configuration.
The Gen2 version offers a more refined finish, with a protective hygro-UV internal coating , an official transparent CallOfDefense authentication label , an engraved front shroud , and an improved SOFTCORE liner kit for comfort and support.
With a raw M/L hull weighing approximately 1,000 kg , the P1-GEN2 maintains a low weight for a UHMWPE ballistic polyethylene platform. Once prepared with its finishing elements and equipped with its Skeleton Super High Cut rails and NVG shroud , it reaches approximately 1,385 kg , while still maintaining good compatibility with modern tactical configurations.

The P1-GEN2 receives a protective internal hygro-UV coating, designed to improve the internal finish of the shell, limit exposure to UV radiation and enhance surface durability under conditions of prolonged use.
This finish contributes to a cleaner, more consistent and more durable preparation of the platform.
Since UHMWPE ballistic polyethylene is a thermoplastic material sensitive to high temperatures, the P1-GEN2 does not receive internal etching like an aramid shell.
Official CallOfDefense identification is ensured by a transparent authentication label , applied without thermal alteration of the shell.
This solution allows for clear, discreet and durable identification of the helmet, while respecting the constraints specific to UHMWPE ballistic polyethylene.
The NVG-compatible front shroud receives a dedicated CallOfDefense engraving.
