Rigid lateral ballistic plate combining a ballistic ceramic face with a UHMWPE backing, designed to provide Level IV protection in a stand-alone configuration. Its 15 × 20 cm size offers an extensive lateral protection area while remaining compatible with the side pockets of tactical plate carriers and cummerbunds. Weighs approximately 1.10 kg per plate. Available individually or in pairs. Although the plate functions without mandatory ICW soft protection, the use of a T-GUARD 15 × 20 cm trauma insert, or equivalent protection, is strongly recommended to reduce the effects of back trauma and improve wearer safety.
This side ballistic plate is designed to complement the frontal and dorsal protection by reinforcing the flank coverage.
It combines a ballistic ceramic face, designed to break and slow the projectile, with a rear support made of UHMWPE , designed to retain the fragments and absorb the residual energy.
Its 15 × 20 cm format offers greater coverage than a 15 × 15 cm side plate. Its simple curve improves its positioning against the body and its stability in a compatible pocket.
The plate is designed in a Stand Alone configuration and does not require an ICW flexible ballistic panel to achieve the advertised level of protection.
Even when the projectile is stopped, some of the energy can be transferred to the wearer. Therefore, the use of a T-GUARD 15 × 20 cm anti-trauma insert, or equivalent protection, is strongly recommended to limit the effects of back trauma.

Additional internal tests were carried out on this range in order to observe the behavior of the plates in the face of heavy threats and to explore their limits.
